CADENCE QUEEN had a unique life being an African American rock singer. She broke barriers and confounded skeptics with her fearless presence and compelling voice. She had finally reached the road to stardom, but on her way, came a price she wasn’t prepared to pay.
After pushing away everyone she loved, she turned to drugs and alcohol to escape her problems. When all hope was lost, she committed suicide and found herself trapped in a realm between light and darkness.
